Amélie is a winter or mid-season skirt depending on the material you use.
The skirt is straight with darts to shape it at the waist.
It has an asymmetrical front and is fastened by 4 buttons on the front.
This style is finished with a facing around the waist and down the middle front of the skirt.

I made my skirt in thick wool but you could use many other materials for this style, such as crepe, jacquard, tweed, gabardine, poplin…
- 90 cm of 140 cm wide fabric
- Fusible (iron-on) interfacing for the facings
- 4 buttons (approx. 2.5 cm diameter)
