Alix is a lovely long wrapover waisted dress. The pattern features a short row of buttons at the top of the skirt, leaving a slit lower down.
Alix also has flared ruffles on the shoulders.

This is a really beautiful well designed dress. I am delighted with it. (I would recommend leaving the dress to hang for a while, then trimming if necessary before hemming; because of the cut of the pattern the seams are effectively cut on the bias and mine dropped.)
